At George and Grey we provide specialist insurance products and services to the UK Construction Sector. As an independent insurer, we operate under the financial jurisdiction of the Guernsey Financial Services Commission, the regulatory body for the finance sector in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. We provide Insurance Backed Guarantees for contractors with approved schemes, suppliers and manufacturers operating in the UK construction market.
Our storyA Protected Cell Company
George and Grey, a Protected Cell Company (PCC), is regulated and licensed to provide and manage Cells, for trading companies that want to manage their own financial risk and demonstrate fiduciary responsibility where they provide term guarantees to customers.
Cells are managed and overseen by George and Grey, the PCC under the regulated authority of the Guernsey Financial Services Commission to ensure that any Cell is administered independently of the company’s trading activities, supporting the guarantees issued and providing end customers with complete peace of mind and security.
To this day the two forts stand as an impressive reminder of Guernsey's strength and stability which resonates with its renowned expertise in both financial and insurance sectors.
