Meet the Executive Team
Our leadership team is made up of individuals with expertise, knowledge and experience in their respective fields. Together we form a strong, united and collaborative team to provide you with the highest level of support and service.
Paul Wakefield
Longstanding experience in on and offshore jurisdictions most recently as a non-executive Director with a London market insurance Company, Paul is experienced in feasibility studies, regulatory matters and the establishment of insurance subsidiaries for global multi-national corporations. Paul is currently a non-executive Director of a number of Guernsey based insurance companies.
Paul is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute. He is registered and approved as a Director with the UK Prudential Regulatory Authority and the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.
Roger Williams
A qualified Finance and operations Director with extensive experience in Corporate and SME businesses with complex structures. Roger sits on the board representing the founding cell in the PCC. He is registered and approved as a Director with the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.
Eddie Ballard
Eddie has 23 years experience working in insurance and insurance company management in Guernsey. Eddie has led client service teams on a diverse portfolio of insurance companies including traditional captives, mortgage indemnity captives and commercial life companies. These companies covered a number of different structures including PCCs, ICCs and special purpose insurance companies.
Eddie led the response to the introduction of the Own Solvency Capital Assessment regime developing a proprietary model for clients and provided advice on the impact of the introduction of new accounting standards and changes to UK Tax legislation in particular CFC.
Eddie is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (FCA) and before relocating to Guernsey trained with KPMG.
Barrie Smith-Wright
Barrie has over forty years involvement in the UK insurance construction warranty market, where he has held many senior positions and for the last 25 years he has focused on the development of the IBG sector. He has participated and advised in the financial protection programmes for the UK competent person schemes. He is registered and approved as a Director with the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.
